Leaders from Europe’s telecom, industrial and energy sectors join the STRGY AI Advisory Board

Most strategies don’t fail on paper. They fail in the months that follow, in the daily decisions, handovers and priorities that slowly drift away from what was agreed in the boardroom. That gap between strategic ambition and execution is exactly what we’re building StrategyOS to close.
So as we get closer to launching our product and rolling out across Europe, we wanted people around the table who have closed that gap themselves, inside some of the largest and most complex organisations on the continent.
Today we’re proud to introduce the founding members of the STRGY AI Advisory Board:
- Dr. Chathurangi Wickramasinghe, SVP Magenta API Capability Exposure, Deutsche Telekom
- Dr. Patricia de Lange, Manager, Commercial Strategy, Uniper
- Johan Swarts, EHS / HR Director, Parts & Services Division, Sandvik Mining
- Timo Eskola, Marketing & Sales Manager, Distribution Solutions, ABB Oy
- Manuel Maier, VP, Product Area RideCare, Bosch
Europe’s leading industries around one table
Our advisors come from the sectors that power Europe’s economy: telecommunications, energy, industrial technology, mining and mobility. These are industries where a strategy has to travel across tens of thousands of people, multiple countries, long investment cycles and demanding regulation, and where even a small drift in execution quickly becomes expensive. They are also exactly the kind of organisations StrategyOS is built for.
Together, our advisors bring hands-on experience across enterprise technology, industrial operations, commercial strategy, product leadership and the energy transition.
“Not just writing it down”
For our co-founder and CEO Samuli Bäck:
“Every one of these advisors has lived the hard part of strategy, making it happen inside a large organisation, not just writing it down or even worse hallucinating it. That’s exactly the experience we want around the table as we scale StrategyOS, where AI agents bring cadence and certainty to the gap that can exist between strategic courage and strategy execution.”
Strategic courage is a deeply human thing. It’s what it takes for leaders to commit to a bold new plan and ask an entire organisation to follow. StrategyOS helps make that plan happen. Our agents keep the organisation pointed at the north star long after the kickoff, catching drift early, when day-to-day pressures start pulling teams in other directions.
That balance between AI and human judgement is one our advisors care deeply about:
“In a large organisation, strategy succeeds when it shapes the decisions teams make every day. AI agents can help connect strategic priorities with execution, improve decision-making and accelerate progress, but clear accountability and human oversight remain essential. That is what excites me about STRGY’s StrategyOS: its ambition to help organisations turn strategy into measurable outcomes.”
A two-way street: startup speed meets corporate experience
The board came together through the EEX Journey, a programme run by Entrepreneurship Exchange (EEX) in which senior leaders from Europe’s largest corporations lend their experience to high-potential startups and learn by building alongside them.
It’s a meeting of two worlds. On one side, the speed, ownership and skin in the game of a young startup. On the other, the seniority, structure and scale of Europe’s largest companies. Each has something the other needs, and the exchange runs in both directions.
As Dr. Patricia de Lange puts it:
“After researching entrepreneurial mindsets in my PhD and working in large corporate environments, I’ve seen how much corporates and startups can learn from each other. Being part of an international advisory board allows me to put these insights into practice. The intercultural setting, combining scale and complexity with entrepreneurial speed, ownership and experimentation, can turn great ideas into real impact.”
Tapio Peltonen, Founder and CEO of EEX, agrees:
“What makes an advisory board valuable is the two-way street. STRGY is a brilliant example. Experienced corporate leaders know first-hand how tough corporate strategy work can be, which helps to guide STRGY in the right direction. In return, they challenge their own strategic practices and hopefully bring more agile approaches back to their organisations. Here, an AI-driven approach meets a diverse group of seasoned human decision-makers.”
